Lush Cosmetics...

It's official. I'm a Lushie.  I have absolutely fallen head over heels in LURVE with Lush cosmetics. Their products are great, a little pricey but great.  I ordered my products online after seeing a couple of reviews on youtube.  It took FOREVER for me to get everything but I think it was because I ordered right after the holidays. I mean it literally took about 3 weeks for me to get my stuff. Thats ridiculous if you ask me. Now that there is a store pretty close by to me, I wont be ordering online from them anymore. I can't wait that long!!

So here is what I bought...

Gorgeous Moisturizer $85.45 OUCH for 1.5 oz. (I KNOW....crazy right?)

Its pricey but works like a dream!!!! Needless to say when I first ordered this cream I thought it would be bigger...it just looks bigger on the site. Genius I am, I didn't bother reading the size.  I just assumed, it would be bigger because of the pricey tag.   The story behind this delightful little cream is that originally it was formulated for Princess Diana.  Lush now owns the recipe and sells it to the public for $85.00!!!  Now At first I thought this product was well worth the dough I dished for it, its so lightweight it absorbs into your skin with no ease, its not oily and is virtually unscented. HOWEVER, I now know how to make my own face cream 

:-)(which I will share on a later blog) so I wont be paying for this ish again!  

OH and BTW there is an expiration for most Lush products. Gorgeous has a 3 month shelf life. SO... you have to use it all up by then, which isn't hard because it isn't much product.

Next we have...

Mask of Magnaminty $11.55-$20.45 (depending on size)

Okay I LURVES this mask... Its kinda minty and has like coffee grounds in it (caffeine is great for firming your skin btw!)

This also has a shelf life and I heard through the beauty grapevine that you really can't hold on to this little gem past the expiration date

or else it will start to smell (yuck!!!) Also you get alot of product so its alot of bang for your buck, I'm still not halfway through this and I've had it for 3 months.

I believe it will expire soon so that sucks... but I only use a mask on my face about once a week. :-)

**NOW while Lush Cosmetics if absolutely FAB.... there are natural alternatives to dishing out all that dough. So soon I will be posting some alternatives and some natural beauty products you can use at home. :-)
